Some companies are built to sell products.

GiftsTree was built to preserve emotions.

Long before the name GiftsTree existed, there was a small workshop known as Maimoon Works in Mumbai. It wasn't a factory chasing numbers or trends. It was a place where metal was carefully etched, engraved, and transformed into nameplates that would become part of someone's home, business, or memory.

My father started this journey with nothing more than skilled hands, patience, and a belief that craftsmanship still mattered. Every engraved letter, every polished plate, and every finished piece carried a little part of him.

In 1998, our family brought this dream to Pune, where it continues to grow even today.

As time passed, people wanted more than engraved metal. They wanted personalized gifts, meaningful keepsakes, and products that told stories. We listened.

What began as a metal engraving workshop slowly evolved into something much bigger.

The business first became Fototrans, focusing on photo printing and personalized photo products. But creativity has never liked staying in one place. With every passing year, new ideas, machines, and possibilities entered our workshop.

Eventually, Fototrans grew into GiftsTree—a name that better represents who we are today.

Today, our workshop brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. We create products using laser engraving, laser marking, CNC milling, photo engraving, UV printing, precision cutting, custom fabrication, and a variety of personalized manufacturing techniques to turn ordinary materials into extraordinary memories.

But if you ask the owner what business he's really in, his answer is surprisingly simple.

"I don't make products. I make people smile."

That smile has always been the real reward.

Whether it's a family seeing their loved one's photograph engraved forever on a plaque, parents holding a customized nameplate for their new home, a student receiving a trophy they've worked years to earn, or someone gifting a personalized keepsake that brings tears of joy—those moments are what make every hour in the workshop worthwhile.

We don't believe personalization is just about adding a name to a product.

We believe every gift should tell a story.

Every design begins with someone's imagination. Our job is simply to bring that imagination into the real world—with precision, quality, and the same care that has guided us since the days of Maimoon Works.

Over the years, our collection has continued to grow. Today, we proudly create custom nameplates, HD photo-engraved plaques, 3D lithophanes, trophies and awards, wooden jewellery boxes, personalized keychains in wood, acrylic, metal, and leather, corporate gifts, commemorative products, memorial keepsakes, and many more custom creations.

And we're still not done.

Every new machine we add, every new technique we learn, and every new product we introduce is driven by the same purpose that started this journey decades ago:
